How can You Help?

Volunteering - Volunteers are the life-blood of Noah’s Ark and there
are numerous ways for you to help. You can help at special events, teach
a cooking class, teach reading, chaperone one of our many field trips,
coach a recreational team, teach a job skill, or just become a friend to
someone. Most volunteers find their efforts rewarding beyond their
expectations.

Community Education - There is always a need to help educate
the general public on the needs of individuals with developmental
disabilities and the Noah’s Ark organization. Whether you actually
make a presentation to an organization or group or simply connect them
with Noah’s Ark, there is always a need to share our story.

Sponsor An Annual Fund-Raiser - With all the various innovative
programs started by Noah’s Ark, the need for ongoing financial support for
operations is great. One solution to help meet this need is to have an
organization or company sponsor an annual fund-raiser with funds
designated to help the individuals of Noah’s Ark. Receiving on-going
support by a group of contributors will go along way to helping meet the
needs of individuals with disabilities.

United Way Directed Donation - As a not-for profit, 501(c)(3)
organization, Noah’s Ark is able to accept donations made through
any chapter (in any state) of the United Way. If you participate in the
United Way fund drive through your employer, you can simply indicate
that you want your contribution directed to Noah’s Ark of Central Florida.

Bequests - As your children complete their education, settle into a
career and begin to prosper, you will likely find that your need to assist
them financially is diminished. This is a great opportunity for you to
redirect some of your life insurance benefits; or to donate some stocks
or mutual funds (many times avoiding paying capital gains taxes);
or to donate a car or some real estate. What a great way to help
individuals with disabilities while leaving a legacy for yourself. For
more information, contact a Noah’s Ark representative.

Cash Donations - With all the innovative programs at Noah’s Ark, there
is always a need for operating money. Noah’s Ark is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3)
organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the maximum amount
allowed by law. You can make a monthly, quarterly or annual pledge, or a
one-time donation. All donations are needed and greatly appreciated.
